Wines from Ratscher Nussberg

The wines from this cru are among the most expressive and best ageing wines of Styria. The Ratscher Nussberg is a basin-shaped south-southwest vineyard with steep slopes and thus benefits from an excellent microclimate. Due to the nature of its soil, it also counts among the most outstanding vineyard sites of Southern Styria. Extended maturation periods in 300 and 600 litre barrels considerably lend support to the individual character of these wines.
